Personal Assistant

Pay rate: $12-$14 per hour Schedule: Part-time, DOE

Description
 
 Our team is seeking an experienced, professional Personal Assistant for part-time employment, on an as needed basis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, communication, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills. We’re looking for an assistant who understands the value of excellent customer service and can provide 5 star service to our clients. The successful candidate will work with the management staff to ensure prompt responses to clients’ inquiries and will notify the appropriate party immediately of any issues or concerns.
 
 
Job Summary
 
This position is responsible for services including, but not limited to: running errands, shopping, picking up laundry, house sitting (excluding overnight stay), store pickups and returns, home/office organization, and waiting for repairmen, This position is also responsible for general housekeeping services including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, laundry (wash and fold), loading and unloading the dishwasher, washing and drying dishes that do not fit in one load, cleaning kitchen countertops, cleaning small kitchen appliances such as microwave, change linen, make up beds, and cleaning bathrooms. Meal prep and a food handler’s license are also required. A food handler’s license can be obtained upon hiring. The successful candidate can work independently with little supervision, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
 
 
Flexibility in Availability is a Must
 
The successful candidate will work on an as needed basis. Shifts are anticipated to be approximately 2-5 hours on weekdays, evenings or on the weekend. Hours are not guaranteed and based on client demand. Most of the time you will be given a 1+ day notice for the shift you need to work, but occasionally there will be a short- or no-notice requirement. The shifts will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 1:00 pm-6:00 pm. We are looking for candidates who are available for at least two of the shifts listed above.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 1 year or more of experience  doing the job duties listed above.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Flexible schedule, available  on Saturdays.
  • Valid and current (non-expired) Texas driver's license.
  • Social security card.
  • Vehicle- clean, reliable and in good working order
  • Working cell phone with voicemail
  • Professional in appearance
  • Pass a drug test and a background check which will include a criminal background check
  • Proficient in English
  • Basic knowledge of local attractions, shopping and destinations
